Fonix Champions Calibre ISE 2016 Prize

Chris Parnell, ‎hitting a remarkable high-score of 23,330 points in the Calibre retro arcade game challenge held throughout ISE 2016 has won for Fonix a Calibre LEDView730 4K LED screen scaler-switcher that’s optimized for driving LED video walls of any size.

Coinciding with Calibre’s move to Hall 11, Calibre had a fun retro gaming-themed booth where hundreds of visitors were able to play several video games using a custom games console and high-res LED displays.

Chris Parnell, technician at Fonix said, “The game was a lot of fun and after many tries, I won. The LEDView730 will be a useful business tool.

The LEDView730 was launched at ISE 2016 alongside several new 4K HQUltra processors. Calibre proprietary HQUltra technology enables fast input switching in a quarter of a second. The unit also enables pixel-perfect per-edge LED sizing.
