ETC and High End Systems withdraw from USITT, Prolight + Sound 2020

Middleton, WI (6 March 2020) – ETC has made the decision to withdraw from two industry trade events.

After reviewing the global situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19), the executive team has determined that protecting its employees and surrounding communities must be the top priority. ETC will not participate in the USITT Stage Expo scheduled for April 1-4. At this time, the companies still plan to conduct the USITT training classes and speaker sessions as planned. ETC looks forward to supporting and participating in USITT activities in future years.

Additionally, ETC has reviewed the new dates for the 2020 Prolight + Sound tradeshow scheduled for May 26-29 and has decided not to attend.

“Planning our activities for Prolight + Sound is a significant undertaking that we look forward to each year,” says David Lincecum, ETC Vice President of Marketing. “Although we were hopeful to attend this show, the new timeline conflicts with our corporate and marketing calendars already set in motion.”

The remainder of our tradeshow plans remain unchanged until further notice. The companies will review each event on a case-by-case basis to determine the best path moving forward.
