November 7, 2019 - Los Angeles, CA – Legendary designer Jeremy Railton and industry veteran Scott Ault have joined forces, as partners, to launch Railton Entertainment Design, the preeminent themed entertainment design firm for location-based entertainment.
Jeremy Railton has announced that after 25 years as Entertainment Design Corporation, an entity that played off the strength of its employees throughout the years, will now be known as RED, Railton Entertainment Design, a company honoring the name and legacy of Jeremy Railton himself, an award winning themed entertainment designer, Themed Entertainment Association Thea's Lifetime Achievement honoree, an Emmy award winning art director and production designer.
The collaboration between Railton and industry veteran Scott Ault offers design and production services focusing on out of home entertainment, including theme parks, attractions, iconic public art, brand activations, live spectaculars, and destination resorts.

For the past two years, Scott Ault’s Checkmate Development Group focused on Intellectual Property and Licensing within the out of home marketplace. Prior to Checkmate, Ault was one of the key leaders behind 20th Century Fox World projects, Lotte World’s Undersea Kingdom, and multiple Nickelodeon branded parks in China during his tenure as President and CEO of Rethink Leisure and Entertainment. “There is no doubt Jeremy is a creative genius.
