Bandit Lites Adds VL 6000 Beams To Inventory

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – Bandit Lites has once again expanded its inventory to meet the growing demands of 2017, this time adding the new VL 6000 Beam. Featuring a large 14 inch aperture, the sleek VL 6000 beam has fulfilled a vacancy in the lighting look repertoire, giving both designers and audiences alike something completely new. Its ability to fill the wide lens while still producing a large, intense beam will add a unique element of interest to any design, whether it is for television, outdoor festivals or arena tours.

“With the name Vari*Lite, comes a tradition of high quality and top notch fixture designs,” said Bandit’s Director of Technical Services, Jake Tickle. “It is really exciting to see Vari*Lite produce such a unique fixture, and I’m excited to see what is on the horizon.”

VL 6000 beams were recently utilized by Bandit at the NFL Draft last weekend in Philadelphia at Draft Town’s Entry Portal, where thousands were ushered into a weekend of football festivities. Additional VL 6000 beams were placed around fountains and a statue of George Washington.

In addition to the NFL Draft, the new VL 6000 Beams also slated for Bandit’s eventful summer schedule, including May’s Hangout Festival and June’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

“With the VL 6000 beam in our inventory, we add another layer to our already extensive tool box for designers to work with,” finished Tickle. “The VL 6000 beam will be a work horse on festivals, to theaters and everything in between, giving us bold aerials and soft glows. Bandit and Vari*Lite have a long history of excellent work together, and I’m excited to see our designer push the creative boundaries with this unique product.”
