Arista Corporation’s E-Vocal® Duo Audio Products at LDI 2019

Fremont, CA – LDI Booth #1948… Arista Corporation, recognized globally as a leading manufacturer of AV extenders, matrix switchers, AV MultiViewers, and related products for the AV installation and industrial markets, will be featuring its E-Vocal Duo and E-Vocal Duo+ Audio over IP product groups during LDI 2019. The E-Vocal Duo and E-Vocal Duo+ product groups take audio transport to the next level using the popular Dante audio transport protocol.

The E-Vocal Duo ARS-0200-A00 2-channel analog audio to Dante interface makes it easy to connect one’s legacy audio gear to a Dante networked audio system. This product allows two channels of analog audio to be integrated into a Dante network.

Opposite in function to the E-Vocal Duo ARS-0200-A00, the E-Vocal Duo ARS-0002-A00 converts a Dante stream into two channels of analog audio signal. This interface is handy when, for example, a stereo feed of the performance is needed to feed a conventional sound reinforcement system or is to be recorded.

Arista’s E-Vocal Duo ARS-0002-A01 allows two audio signal outputs of Lip-Sync delay of up to 170 ms/ch (fs = 48 kHz) to synchronize the audio stream to the video stream. The delay control switch can add delay in the range of 0~170ms by 32 increments. The E-Vocal Duo ARS-0002-A01 uses XLR analog outputs.

The E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-0202-A00 connects one’s legacy audio gear to the Dante world. It facilitates two channels of analog audio input to be integrated into a Dante network and it also converts a Dante stream into two channels of analog audio output signal. This interface is equipped with an RJ45 copper network interface.

The Arista E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-A11 and E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-B11 are both dual XLR microphone to Dante interfaces that deliver studio quality fidelity and low noise performance for dynamic or condenser microphones. Two audio signal outputs enable Lip-Sync delay of up to 170 ms/ch (fs = 48 kHz) to synchronize the audio stream to the video stream. Both units have a built-in web-based controller for microphone gain control and Lip-Sync delay control. The E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-11 is equipped with an RJ45 copper network interface while the E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-B11 has an SFP connector for Fiber interface, which is ideal for those times when it becomes necessary to extend the connection distance.

The copper interface units (E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-0202-A00 and E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-A11) can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or 12VDC, while the Fiber-equipped E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-B11 interface is powered by 12VDC. The Arista E-Vocal Duo+ interfaces were designed for harsh stage conditions with lockable XLR and etherCON® connectors for both the audio and network connections. The E-Vocal Duo+ interfaces have rubber protection shells and rackmount brackets as optional items.

Martin Fishman, Vice President of Arista Corporation, commented on the company’s new E-Vocal Duo and E-Vocal Duo+ Dante-enabled interfaces. “The E-Vocal Duo and Duo+ interfaces offer a rich feature set, plug and play simplicity, and are a great solution for integrating a wide range of audio equipment into a Dante networked audio environment. They make a great choice for both installed and location sound applications. I’m confident both audio and video technicians will find these interfaces an exceptional value and I encourage them to visit with us during LDI 2019.”
