Alcorn McBride Introduces V16X Show Controller And RideAmp On-Board Audio Amplifier At InfoComm

At InfoComm 2018 Alcorn McBride will highlight two new products designed to streamline system architecture for themed attractions like dark rides, parades and coasters.  Alcorn McBride will be exhibiting in Booth N846 in the Las Vegas Convention Center, June 6-8.

The next-generation V16X show controller from Alcorn McBride supports enhanced synchronization via network.  It is designed to coordinate with other V16X-based sub-systems and RidePlayer-based vehicles to ensure microsecond precision and rock-solid consistency.

“This product embodies our goal to make challenging tasks like synchronizing on-board audio to off-board systems a simple and seamless experience for attraction designers,” says Scott Harkless, Alcorn McBride’s Chief Innovation Officer.

InfoComm attendees will also be introduced to RideAmp, a new on-board audio amplifier.  It will serve as a natural companion product to RidePlayer for applications demanding high-power audio amplification.  RideAmp offers four channels of amplification at 350W with the option to bridge outputs to achieve 700W – all in a compact and robust package designed to survive the brutal environment of a ride vehicle.  Dante/AES67 network audio distribution ensures a nice clean audio signal and remote monitoring.
