Acoustics — In Blue — At The Pablo Center

It’s been one year since Staging Concepts enhanced the RCU Theatre (a 1,200 seat Broadway-style theater in Eau Claire, Wisconsin) at the Pablo Center at the Confluence with beautifully crafted acoustical shells — in a highly unique and elegant color compared to the standard neutral tones found in most theater settings.

The RCU Theatre’s wide range of performances, from plays to dance to opera, are now draped in blue — stunning custom blue acoustical shells, that is — providing one of the most unique and captivating theater settings.Pablo-Center-2.jpg

For this inspiring project, Staging Concepts built a shell that was custom designed by the Pablo Center’s team. Staging Concepts worked with the Pablo Center, taking the entire layout into consideration to ensure the blue shell would provide a welcoming, engaging and uplifting theatrical atmosphere. The “all blue view” includes blue shell towers and ceiling panels used throughout the entire theater.

The sound quality and aesthetics provided by the blue shells in the RCU Theatre highlight Staging Concepts’ customization capabilities.
