Total Structures supports the Broadway Lighting Master Classes

With a focus on bringing new technology to the attention of key designers and user, Total Structures has stepped up to sponsor the Broadway Lighting Master Classes, being held May 24 and 25 at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. In its 17th edition, the Broadway Lighting Master Classes give attendees the opportunity to learn from some of the best known lighting designers in their field and see the latest developments in lighting technology from industry leaders.

After being named the best new product by Live Design at last year's awards, the RSC Lightlock will be on display during this year's manufacturer showcase, giving students the chance to see this cutting edge technology in person. They will also have the chance to speak with Mr. Don Holder, the first lighting designer to employ the RSC Lightlock in a Broadway production.

"It makes perfect sense for us to sponsor the BLMC, and show the RSC Lightlock at this event” says Mr. Adrian Forbes-Black, Vice President of Total Structures. “The original purpose of this equipment was to allow designers to better use moving lights in a theatrical setting. What better venue could we have than a program which pairs up and coming designers with the best professionals currently working on Broadway?” Attendees will have opportunities throughout the two days of presentations to explore the capabilities of the RSC Lightlock for themselves. The intimate nature of the BLMC should allow everyone ample hands on time with this technology.
