Sound Media purchased eight K10 and four K2 models with KDSP and KAESOP cards running in conjunction with Powersoft's ArmonÃa Pro Audio Suiteâ„¢ audio control and system monitoring software. According to Foster, hauling and setup are streamlined with Powersoft. The amplifier racks take up less room in the truck and easily stack on location. Because of the power efficiency, running AC mains distribution on site is easier with the added benefit of being able to run a large system in challenging locations.
“We no longer need to haul around and set up external cross over and graphic EQ units with Powersoft amplifiers,” adds Foster. “Because the amplifiers take away a lot of the design elements that we used to implement discretely, our setups are easier with uniformly better sound.
