Sennheiser Canada Presents Live Mixing Workshop This Month in Toronto

TORONTO - February 3, 2011- Audio specialist Sennheiser Canada announced that it will be hosting a very special live mixing workshop February 21st through 23rd in downtown Toronto. The workshop provides audio engineers with a complete overview of how to set up and run a live event, covering aspects such as:

* FOH sound: Gain structure, assigning frequency ranges to each instrument and collaborating with the band

* Monitor sound: Overview of the ear; communicating with musicians, organizing the mixer; wedges vs. wireless monitoring

* Wireless audio: Frequency management for beginners and advanced

* Set up of equipment, part I & part II: Includes speaker placement, creating workflow, cabling, mic set up, and many other aspects

The Live Mixing Workshop has travelled around the world, visiting cities like Moscow, Beijing, Amsterdam, Bombay and Hannover; this is the only occasion in 2011 to book a seat in Canada. To view the full agenda, please visit www.sennheiser.ca/live/mixingworkshop.

Cost: $250. Fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch and materials.

Places for the workshop will be granted on a first come, first served basis, and tickets will be confirmed on receipt of payment. The maximum number of registrants is 100.
