The move is an integral element of the company's planned expansion. The Projection Studio was launched a year ago as a vehicle for Ashton to focus on his creative work as a world renowned large format and architectural projection designer, consultant and specifier.

The new space features substantial office, administration and meeting facilities as well as an artwork production studio for both video and PIGI slide/film projections, together with a visualisation suite to demonstrate ideas and evolving projects to clients and other interested parties.

Steve Larkins continues to work alongside Ashton as Graphics Manager, and upcoming work includes the Edinburgh Tattoo and several high profile projects for various illuminated cities.

Ross Ashton has been creating amazing large format projection shows for 20 years, during which time he has worked with some of the world's most iconic buildings as his canvasses. Recent work has included being projection consultant for the Closing Ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in Johannesburg, South Africa; consulting on ISHQ-e-DILLI, India's first large format video projection son et lumière; commissions as the main artist for Pittsburgh Festival of Lights in the US and Illuminating York in the UK and producing a show for the 16th Cairo Arab Media Awards in Egypt.
