This newest RevEAL (Revolutionary Entertainment & Architectural Lighting) product is a robust, reliable light source slated for TV studios, theater, corporate events and concerts, film production, special events, and architecture.
Prism's engineering team has put the same precision know-how that compasses the company's award-winning RevEAL CW (Color Wash) into the RevEAL Studio. "We're very excited to bring the RevEAL Studio to market," reports Garrett Young, Prism Projection president and founder. "At 30.5 lumens per watt, this durable unit delivers professional lighting results without compromise, combining energy efficiency and a significantly reduced HVAC demand in an eco-compatible illumination LED source."
Prism Projection's RevEAL Studio continues the company's tradition of professional-grade lighting solutions that provide unparalleled color rendering, palette, repeatability, and beam quality. The over 7600-lumen luminaire features TrueSource optical and color LED management technology for precise and repeatable color and produces a fully-blended LED beam for uniform and consistent beam quality with no degrading ultraviolet or uncomfortable infrared wavelengths. RevEAL Studio offers a cut-and-shape beam, auto focus from a 20 to 70-degree beam, and smooth, continuous 0-100 percent dimming.
Prior to the introduction of the RevEAL Studio, professionals struggled to find LED lighting instruments with sufficient output, color control, and beam shaping capabilities to permit replacement of conventional fresnel 1k and 2k lighting fixtures. With the introduction of the RevEAL Studio and its TrueSource color and optical management system, the Studio performs like a conventional source, eliminating beam striations and inconsistent color associated with LEDs. The Studio, with its MicroLouver beam-shaping accessory, permits a designer to cut the beam much like a standard fresnel fixture.
RevEAL products also produce an extended color gamut using a five-color mixing process: red, green, blue, cyan, and amber. The advanced optical algorithms produce pure and consistent colors, including white light with a CRI above 92 with a CCT range from 2700K to 8,000K.
The RevEAL Studio offers 50,000 hours of operation at 70% lumen maintenance, with local or remote control capability in either AC or DC power settings.
