Pharos LPC gets a makeover

Pharos LPCPharos Architectural Controls is launching a revised Lighting Playback Controller this week at the ARC Show in London. It is the same award winning product, now with enhanced connectivity and improved performance.

This updated version of the LPC is now shipping , incorporating newer technologies already available in their more recently released Controllers and Remote Devices. The eight inputs can now be configured as contact closures, digital or analog inputs. The Serial port is updated to be a multi-protocol port supporting RS232, RS485 or DMX-in triggering, with an installation-friendly 3-pin connector. A colour-coded power connector is intended to reduce the risk of incorrect plugging, and the compact flash card is replaced with an SD card. New indicator LEDs are included on the Ethernet port for network diagnosis and the new output status LED indicates both DMX and eDMX data.

Pharos is exhibiting on stand M1 at the ARC Show, BDC, London 12-13 January 2011. At the show Pharos is also previewing an addition to their range of Remote Input Output devices, the RIO A. This is a networked audio interface compatible with all Pharos controllers, featuring stereo audio-in with support for up to 30-band spectrum analysis, enhanced timecode decoding and MIDI in/out.

The award winning Pharos controllers offer all-in-one solutions for lighting, audio-visual and show control in architectural and entertainment installations. For further information and to download the free Designer software visit the website at www.pharoscontrols.com or contact [email protected]
