PANGOLIN SYSTEMS ROCK THE LASERS DURING PITBULL's PERFORMANCE AT THE 2011 MTV VMA'S

Pangolin Systems help Pitbull's laser show excite audiences around during his performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

ORLANDO, Fla – September 7, 2011 – Pitbull's performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards was second to none. The rapper from Miami took the stage in dramatic fashion, performing his hit single ‘Give Me Everything' alongside Ne-Yo and female recording artist Nayer. What made Pitbull's performance truly special was the artistic fashion in which he incorporated the use of laser light, to heighten the mood in the audience, and add that “special something” to the show.

For his performance, Pitbull engaged the help of veteran laser light show company YLS Entertainment out of California. Pitbull's crew asked the team at YLS to give them that “big beam” look for the show, so that the lasers would fill the room and really stand out. So Marty Canavan and the team at YLS used four twelve watt green YAG lasers, all controlled using Pangolin's award winning LD2000 laser system. YLS made six – two beam positions coming from four separate tables, using a very fast chase. This elegant laser design helped Pitbull's performance at the MTV Video Music captivate the audience, and has people still talking about the show. Marty Canavan from YLS Entertainment was quoted saying… “We at YLS were honored to have been apart of Pitbull's performance at the 2011 Video Music Awards. This is a really exciting time for us, as we seeing more and more musical artists using lasers to heighten their performances, and add that special something to their shows.”
