Continuing its legacy of delivering innovative solutions to the entertainment lighting market, North American lighting leader OSRAM SYLVANIA is proud to introduce the new OSRAM HTI 1000W/PS (Power Series) Lok-it! lamp, the latest in the popular Lok-it! family of compact, high-performance lamps, at LDI 2012. As with the full portfolio of Lok-it! lamps, the new HTI 1000W/PS lamp is an ideal solution for stage, studio, television, club and spot lighting. As the specified light source in the new Martin Professional MAC Viper Profile™, the lamp is already achieving great feedback.

Featuring eXtreme Seal (XS) technology that allows up to 450 degrees Celsius at the pinch seal, the HTI 1000W/PS Lok-it! metal halide lamp emits 85,000 lumens with a color temperature of 6000K and a high CRI greater than 85. Like all Lok-it! lamps, the HTI 1000W/PS also features an innovative rear insertion design that allows for easier, faster and safer lamp replacements. Users can simply insert, give the lamp a quarter turn and lock it into position with accurate alignment, using a mechanical stop to prevent the lamp from being turned too far.

The Lok-it! family of lamps comes in both metal halide and tungsten halogen, ranging from 300W to 1500W. Available in two base sizes – PGJX50 & the smaller PGJX28 – Lok-it! lamps are interchangeable with FastFit and Twist & Lock lamps thanks to their universal base design. Whether the specific application demands high output, an extra long service life or maximum color rendering, the Lok-it! system provides the right solution for any stage or studio show and is ideal for club lighting and moving head fixtures.
