Originally becoming the first V-DOSC partner in Asia in 1998, MSI has enjoyed a long history with L-ACOUSTICS. Eleven years after their initial contact, MSI was contacted by L-ACOUSTICS Founder Dr. Christian Heil and invited to France for a meeting about K1.
"I flew over to France with MSI Vice President Motoshige Nishio and listened to the K1 system at L-ACOUSTICS," says MSI Director Shuzo Fujii. "The moment I heard the system, I immediately knew I would be buying it, and we were given the opportunity to become part of the pilot program."

"Having just used the K1 system for the first time, I think it's great!" said Fujii after the first concert. "It has the most advanced rigging system, which shortens the set up time for us and means we can do our job not only quickly but safely. As for sound quality, the mid-high for vocals is extremely smooth, and the sound was clear and full-bodied, even right at the back of the venue.
"K1 is definitely an upgraded version of V-DOSC -- this system is able to bring out the small nuances of the sound while also being very powerful. As for K1-SUB and SB28, we've never managed to get such low, tight sound from any subs before. We've definitely made the right choice in purchasing the K1 system."
