Meyer Sound to Showcase JM-1P and MINA at PALME Vietnam 2010

At PALME Vietnam 2010, Meyer Sound will showcase the new MINAâ„¢ line array loudspeaker and JM-1P arrayable loudspeaker, among other innovative audio solutions that push the boundaries of audience experience in an AV environment.

“The unsurpassed demand for high-quality entertainment experiences is providing an exciting opportunity for Meyer Sound systems around the world,” says Mike Cooper, director of international sales for Meyer Sound. “With the fast-growing tourism market in Vietnam, we look forward to working with local integrators and venues to bring the same level of listening experience in Las Vegas and on Broadway to the projects in this region.”

Named by MIX Magazine as one of the top ten product picks at ProLight + Sound 2010, the new MINA line array loudspeaker will be on display at the Meyer Sound stand. It shares the same exceptional intelligibility and musicality as the MILO®, MICA®, and M'elodie® line array loudspeakers. The MINA measures less than 472 mm wide and only 21.32 kg, yet produces up to 128 dB SPL at one meter with an operating frequency range of 70 Hz to 18 kHz over a 100-degree horizontal coverage area, making it ideal for applications that include smaller theatres, theme parks, and touring theatrical productions.

Also featured will be the JM-1P arrayable loudspeaker system, which has redefined point source systems to provide precise horizontal control in a seamless, tight-packed array in theatres and nightclubs. An extremely easy-to-use, highly versatile system, the JM-1P exhibits an impressive power output of 138 dB max peak SPL at one meter.
