LumenRadio, the wireless lighting controls technology leader, has as the first foreign manufacturer received Chinese SRRC certification for its CRMX products. The certification is similar to FCC in the USA for sales and operation of wireless systems in China.
The Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate is issued by the State Radio Regulatory Commission of P. R. China after extensive testing at a dedicated government laboratory to verify that the equipment complies with all applicable standards and regulations. The process, overseen by the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is expensive, rigorous, and typically takes more than a year for this type of equipment.
