London, UK based automation specialist Kinesys announces June and July dates for its on-going product training programme, consisting of two day courses and workshops.

The next two General Technical & Vector Control training courses will take place on 13th & 14th June and 11th & 12th July respectively. For full details, please visit the Kinesys website: www.kinesys.co.uk

The training provides both theoretical and practical tuition covering the fundamentals of Kinesys' innovative motion control systems under the banner ‘Technical and Vector control'.

It will be held at Kinesys' new dedicated training facility at the company's HQ in Hampton, Middlesex. This includes a special classroom set up with individual computers allowing attendees to work at their own pace, and a full practical training rig.

These latest courses, co-ordinated by Kinesys' Training Manager Andy Hicks, are integral to a regular schedule of training offered by Kinesys, and reflect the constantly growing uptake of the equipment in all industry sectors.

The focus will be on system configuration – with a broad overview of the entire Kinesys product range with particular focus on variable speed Kinesys chain hoists, beam trolleys and Kinesys Elevation 1+ controllers – and the highly versatile Kinesys Vector software control package. It will also cover basic troubleshooting.

Lunch is provided on both days, and each course costs £250 (ex-VAT).

The courses are designed to allow plenty of hands-on time with the systems, and actually programming and moving truss and other objects in an environment similar to ‘the real world'. This allows attendees' time to be maximized.

Classes are also limited in size to ensure that all receive the requisite amount of time and attention.

Previous experience of motors or automation is not necessary to benefit from the training. Those with lighting backgrounds in particular can pick it up very quickly, especially on the control side, when it comes to building cues and running shows, etc.

These two Summer courses will be the last before a break in the on-going training schedule due to a busy period of activity with the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games followed by the PLASA 2012 lighting and sound exhibition.

Regular courses will recommence in October – including the next on the K2 control system - with dates to be announced later in the year.
