J. R. Clancy Joins Hoist UK at PLASA

At stand 2-R32 at the PLASA 2010, J. R. Clancy and theatrical technology dealer Hoist UK will exhibit together in a unique partnership that offers the “Best of All Worlds.”

This distribution and partnership agreement offers customers a complete project solution. Hoist UK can integrate products from each partner's expertise and equipment through a single dealer source. The result is a complete project solution, minimizing customers' need to select and manage many different suppliers.

“The Best of All Worlds partnership offered by Hoist UK gives customers the opportunity to find products from industry brand leaders that are seamlessly designed, conceived, manufactured and delivered with one call,” said Tony Dickson at Hoist UK.

J. R. Clancy designs and manufactures off-the-shelf and custom automated and manual rigging systems, heat resistant borders, fire curtains and hoists for acoustic shells. Clancy equipment can be found around the world in performance venues from schools to the largest performing arts centers and concert halls.

Visitors to the Hoist UK stand will have the opportunity to see J. R. Clancy's popular PowerLift automated hoist. This economical, reliable, off-the-shelf hoist currently is installed in theatres and concert halls throughout Europe and North and South America.

Two additional suppliers complete the “Best of All Worlds” partnership:

• Niscon Inc. designs, supplies, and implements motion control systems that engineer the art of movement, from individual components to complement an installation to complete turnkey systems.

• Verlinde SA has manufactured hoists and lifting equipment for more than 150 years. Well known for its Stagemaker line, the Verlinde factory in Vernouillet, France, has a production capacity of 40,000 electric chain hoists annually.

PLASA 2010 take place September 12-15, at Earls Court in London, England.
