Halliday In New York

I have managed to completely avoid UK-based programmer Rob Halliday while he's working only blocks away from my office in New York City on Broadway, programming for the transfer from London's West End of Equus at the Broadhurst Theatre, with previews starting tomorrow and official opening on September 25. He's already been here a couple weeks, and I am off to London for PLASA tomorrow, and we have not been able to cross paths (entirely my fault...sorry, Rob).

Halliday reports that three transfers are currently making use of the FocusTrack lighting documentation system that he created: Billy Elliot, lit by Rick Fisher and programmed by Vic Smerdon; A Tale of Two Cities, lit by Richard Pilbrow and programmed by Robert Bell at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre; and of course for his own programming on Equus, lit by David Hersey.

Halliday shared some screen shots. Here's a good one:

Look for more coverage of Equus and A Tale of Two Cities in upcoming issues of Live Design.
