Each year, the Sound Commission holds this challenge. Sound Designers are given a piece of text, or a short video, or live action bit to put some sound to. They have 3 hours to do it and cannot used any pre-recorded sound effects or music. Using portable recorders and laptops, they have to create everything they can (or have time) for the piece.
This year, I tried it...and videoed it.
