EWING, NJ — Theatrical supply company Gerriets International announced the addition of a new line of event and design fabrics.
Substantially expanding the Gerriets textile range, these specialty textiles include a wide assortment of versatile, economical, flame retardant materials. All are available for rapid delivery in an extensive selection of standard colors; and all can be custom sewn to order in the Gerriets workshop in Ewing, New Jersey. Custom dyeing is also available.
In addition to diaphanous voiles, iridescent organzas, and lavish satins, the new line features several fabrics with woven patterns and other special effects, including moire, stripes, diamond-stitching, and crush.
"Our customer base includes an ever-increasing number of professionals handling all kinds of events and event-related projects," said Nick Pagliante, general manager at Gerriets International, "from product unveilings and other types of reveals to galas and fundraisers, and from costume and set designs to retail, expo, and exhibit settings. We've handpicked a selection of specialty fabrics that are ideally suited to such applications, with the economical pricing and speedy delivery times that are essential in today's event industry."
Gerriets' new line of event textiles was displayed at LDI in Las Vegas earlier this month and is showcased in a full-color catalogue that also includes a selection of traditional theatrical velour and lining fabrics.
