LOS ANGELES – Blaine Engle has joined Elation Professional/Acclaim Lighting as National Sales Manager for the Specifications Market. A three-decade lighting industry veteran, Engle will be responsible for overseeing all US-based Elation and Acclaim project specifications and developing sales for specification-based projects involving the company's professional and architectural lighting products. His primary focus will be on Elation/Acclaim LED architectural series products and Elation's Impression series of LED automated moving heads.
“I am excited to be part of the Elation/Acclaim team,” stated Engle. “I have known most of the principals of the company for over half of my 29 years in the professional lighting business, and I am very happy to have this opportunity to work with them in my new role on a daily basis.”
Part of Engle's duties will involve functioning in a field sales role generating specifications for the company's products, targeting architects, specifiers and lighting designers. Additionally, he will work closely with the company's sales reps to assist them in securing project specifications and sales, and to provide them with technical education on the company's product line so they can better sell and service the Specifications Market.
According to Eric Loader, national sales director for Elation Professional and Acclaim Lighting, the fact that his company's broadened professional and LED product line is being used increasingly in specification-based projects created the need for a dedicated sales manager for the Specifications Market. With nearly 30 years experience in all facets of the professional lighting business – from production to sales – Engle has the ideal background and hands-on expertise to provide knowledgeable assistance to both end-users and sales reps on specifying Elation/Acclaim products for entertainment and architectural applications, said Loader.
