LOS ANGELES – (For Immediate Release) --Now you can “cut the tape” and set your lighting designs free to reach new and exciting places, thanks to Elation Flex Pixel WP, a 3 meter (10') tri-color SMD LED flexible tape with PIXEL CONTROL and a water resistant covering. Each tape features 72 tri-color (red, green, blue) LED pixels, spaced 40 mm (1.6”) centers. You can cut and extend the tape every 100mm (4”) to fit a wide variety of design applications.
A variety of mounting options opens even more creative possibilities to designers when using Flex Pixel WP. You can mount the tape on just about any surface using the optional Flex IP Clip kit, or simply use double stick 3M adhesive tape or Velcro (sold separately).
Flex Pixel WP can be driven by the Flex Pixel Driver 1, a dedicated DMX driver for up to 144 pixels (two tapes) and up to 432 DMX channels of control. The compact size makes it easy to conceal and mount the driver anywhere.
Another convenient option is to run the tape remotely using the Flex Pixel IR (FLE 755), Elation's infrared wireless receiver and remote driver, which offers stand alone control and built in chase effects.
Both drivers are designed to be used with the Flex Pixel 5VPSU, featuring 5 volts and 5 amp power supply. This is required for each section of tape.
