Eight Daktronics Screens to Dazzle During NCAA® Men's Final Four®

GoVision Installs Video Wall Above Court at Lucas Oil Stadium

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – April 1, 2010 – For the second consecutive year, the NCAA Men's Final Four will feature an octagonal LED video wall suspended above the court. Fans attending the 2010 NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championships this weekend will have a spectacular, high-definition view of all the action, regardless of where they are seated in Lucas Oil Stadium, while fans at home will also experience the giant screens featuring Daktronics (Nasdaq-DAKT) LED video technology.

Texas-based GoVision (www.jumbo.tv), one of the nation's premier suppliers of turnkey mobile LED units and customized modular LED walls, is providing the video wall and related production elements for the Men's Final Four.

In partnership with the NCAA, GoVision configured eight 15' x 28' Daktronics PST-12HD modular LED screens to create a high-definition octagonal video wall. The eight-screen unit is suspended from the ceiling 60' above the basketball court and weighs in at 36,680 pounds.

The state-of-the-art screens that form the video wall were pulled from the outside plazas at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as part of GoVision's unique partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, announced last September.

This year's crowd will also be treated to something new — a 50'-long courtside ribbon board displaying sponsor logos, stats and other high-definition graphics. The 30“-high screen is comprised of Daktronics high-resolution modular PST-6i-b panels and is similar to the configuration GoVision debuted during February's NBA All Star Game in Dallas, Texas.

“Once again, GoVision is helping us make the in-game spectator experience at the Men's Final Four truly spectacular,” said LJ Wright, Director of NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship. “You can sit anywhere in Lucas Oil Stadium and have an awesome view of the action on the court. The GoVision team went above and beyond, just like they did in Detroit last year, and the addition of the courtside screens is great for fans too.”

From the massive eight-sided display, portable maple court and extra bleachers to hold the 70,000 plus expected in attendance, the Men's Final Four is one of the most high-profile championship events.

“It's always exciting being a part of an event that's watched by the whole country, but we're getting pretty used to the pressure,” said Chris Curtis, CEO of GoVision. “Our team knows how to execute when the stakes are highest, which is why we have such a strong track record of repeat business from blue-chip clients like the NCAA.”

In addition to the centerhung and courtside displays from GoVision, attendees at Lucas Oil Stadium will see a multitude of Daktronics state-of-the-art LED technology throughout the facility. This super system, installed in 2008, consists of two 53' x 97' wide scoreboards positioned in the northwest and southeast corners of the stadium and a nearly 360 degree, 3' x 1,700' ribbon board configuration of full-color LED technology surrounding the seating bowl.
