Digital Projection Adds Service Coordinator to Customer Support Team

ATLANTA, GA – April 2, 2010 - Digital Projection Inc. (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high performance projection systems, recently announced the appointment of Kristina Odom as service coordinator. In this newly created role, Odom will assist in the organization and execution of all technical service and support related activities at Digital Projection's North America headquarters. This vital position assures DPI's expanding base of customers and dealers will experience a consistently proactive stream of updates and communication relating to service requests. Odom has already commenced working with DPI's extensive dealer network.

With her extensive customer support and project management experience, Odom adds a key link in the line of communication between DPI's dealers and the company's technical support team. Primarily, Odom will work with DPI's Technical and Customer Service Managers to assure timely completion of all service orders. In addition, Odom will manage communication between the DPI technical group and the integrator/dealer placing the support request. This is an important link with respect to setting and meeting service support timelines, as well as expediting the turnaround of equipment sent to DPI for service.

Odom will also assist the Technical Service Manager in the scheduling and coordination of field repair and support requests. As inventory and service go hand in hand, the support coordinator will also provide insight into the review and determination of appropriate spare parts inventory levels. One coordination point allows for the cohesive management of service request scheduling, processing repair evaluations and estimates.

Mike Akridge, VP of Operations for Digital Projection Inc., commented, “Kristina is a great addition to DPI's already robust customer and technical service teams. DPI's dealers now have a dedicated contact for all service-related status updates, which we feel is vital to assuring we deliver the best support experience possible.”

Odom remarked, “Everyone gets to write their own story in life. I'm glad I'm able to include the Digital Projection team in mine. There couldn't be a better group of people to know and work with.”

Kristina Odom can be reached at 770-420-1350 or [email protected] from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST.
