The fun started July 3-4 at the annual Fair Saint Louis…LIVE On the Levee music festival, where GoVision's truck-mounted super screen, dubbed "GoBigger," was positioned under the Gateway Arch, giving crowds a dazzling view of featured acts including Counting Crows, Train as well as “tween” stars Nat and Alex Wolff. GoVision is constructing the modular video wall and providing the high-definition camera equipment and crew to shoot the event, which will also be held at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial in St. Louis, Mo.

The free concert will be the culmination of a day-long celebration of baseball history and will include a $1 million donation by Major League Baseball to Crow's “Stand Up To Cancer” foundation. The show, beginning at 8:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, July 11, will be preceded by the St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs game on FOX, which will air live on the big screens under the Gateway Arch.

Creative Producers Group CPG of St. Louis, which was hired by both Fair Saint Louis and Major League Baseball to facilitate the two musical events, selected GoVision to provide the screens and on-site video production.

"GoVision always does a fantastic job for us, not only by providing their world-class video equipment, but handling the cameras and back-end production as well," said Dennis Moore, vice president of production operations for CPG. "I know we can count on their team to handle all our needs from soup to nuts, with complete attention to every little detail."

The third event will be held in conjunction with the 2009 State Farm® Home Run Derby® during the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, where fans will attempt to hit home runs out of a replica ballpark adjacent to Busch Stadium. GoVision's “GoBig” unit – a 9'x16' Daktronics screen – and production crew will capture the would-be sluggers along with MLB game action and All Star festivities throughout the July 11-14.

"We're pleased to play such a high-visibility role at these three huge events in St. Louis," said Chris Curtis, CEO of GoVision. They and the folks at the home-run challenge will really appreciate the size and brilliant high-def resolution of our screens."

The Marketing Arm, a Dallas-based promotions agency, selected GoVision to support State Farm's home-run fan event.

"It's a simple choice, really, when it comes to rolling out the big screens, " said Kyle Boughton, Operations Coordinator for The Marketing Arm. "GoVision is tops in the business, and the first call we make when we want to incorporate an oversized video element at our events."
