NASHVILLE - Christie Lites Nashville is open for business at its 12th fully stocked location. Even before its official Dec. 1 opening, Christie Lites Nashville began shipping tours and trade show packages from its new 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse at 6050 Dana Way in Antioch, TN, just outside of Nashville. Its sales/rental office opens in January of 2013 at the Soundcheck complex at 750 Cowan St. in Nashville.
Nashville is the latest addition to Christie Lites’ multi-office network of full service stage lighting supply locations across North America. Said CEO/Founder Huntly Christie, “Nashville’s location, marketplace, talent pool and business friendly environment make a fabulous place to set up shop. I am pleased about this latest addition to our network.”
Ken Alexander, VP Rentals Christie Lites, said Christie Lites Nashville is generating a very favorable buzz among new and existing clients. “The Operations team has been working hard to create yet another great example of our standardized warehouse and show prep locations. Adding Nashville to our mix brings Christie Lites even closer to our current US marketplaces, and clients are excited about their new prep location option. We expect Nashville to quickly become a key hub in the Christie Lites network,” he said.
Christie Lites‘ business model allows for each Rental Rep to serve their client base with the same quality standard of service and support from all 12 Christie warehouse locations across North America. Based in the Nashville location are Operations Manager Tom Cowdery, who built the location out of a raw warehouse; and Rental Reps Shannon Scott, Richard Willis and Terry Crain.
Said Shannon Scott, “Having a 50,000 square foot warehouse just a few miles from Nashville allows us to not only service Tennessee but the surrounding states with quicker transit times, while also allowing customers the convenience of picking up gear straight from the shop. I am excited about the warehouse opening; we will now be able to deliver Christie Lites quality products to a broader market.”
Richard Willis agreed about the location’s advantage to customer service. “It is a pleasure to work in this exciting market, and the new location allows for an overnight truck run to almost anywhere on America’s east coast. Keeping transportation costs down and opening new markets makes for very exciting times.”
To celebrate its new location, Christie Lites is thrilled to be participating in the annual industry Holiday party at Soundcheck Nashville on Dec. 12 from 5-10 pm. Christie Lites has contributed to the event with a significant set of lighting equipment under the design watch of LD Steve Owens.
