Christie Launches New LCD Projector With 4DColor™ Technology: The Christie LX700

LX700Continuing its role as an innovator in the imaging marketplace, Christie introduces the new Christie LX700 with 4DColor(tm) technology. This new, four-panel LCD projector offers an incredible combination of real color and high brightness in a compact size. At 7,000 lumens and XGA resolution, the Christie LX700 is ideal for large venues, educational facilities, retail environments, corporate boardrooms and training, rental staging and houses of worship.

At the core of the Christie LX700 is 4DColor technology combined with inorganic LCD panels. 4DColor provides a 20% increase in color gamut over previous three-panel LCD models. The inorganic panels help create a "natural black" for sharper images and increased contrast ratio.

"The Christie LX700 is among the first on the market equipped with a fourth LCD panel," says Frank Anzures, product manager, Business Products, Christie. "By adding a fourth LCD panel, essentially a yellow panel just before the green panel, deeper reds and better flesh tones are produced without compromising brightness. Combine this with 10-bit image processing and you get the highest-quality image reproduction at this brightness for an LCD projector."

The Christie LX700 includes a number of features:

* contrast ratio of 2,200:1

* AutoFilter system that rolls out a new filter every 1,000 hours for up to 10,000 hours

* true digital connections with full AV inputs

* broad suite of optional lenses, and

* built-in shutter

Backed by Christie's top rated service and support network, the Christie LX700 joins Christie's leading line-up of projectors that range from 4,000 lumens to the brightest at 30,000 lumens.
