Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – CHAUVET® fixtures lit the stage for the first-ever Spirit of Sport 2011 awards ceremony recognizing top athletes of the country in their respective fields, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Shival Maharaj of rental company All Events Lighting specified 24 COLORadoâ„¢ 1 Tour and 74 COLORbandâ„¢ TRI wash lights. 
The stage had a simple but powerful design, featuring five identical projection screens mounted in semicircular truss frame. Eight COLORbandâ„¢ TRI lights on top and 12 at the bottom, flanked the central screen for a discrete wash projected towards the stage. The other four screens each carried 13 COLORbandâ„¢ TRI fixtures, providing an elegant and intense backdrop lighting. Above the stage, the 24 COLORadoâ„¢ 1 Tour fixtures warmed the truss in rich colors. 
Maharaj has been using CHAUVET® lights for various events for the past six years. “I am very comfortable specifying CHAUVET®, these are great lights. Also, part of my inventory consists of Q-Spot 260-LED and Q-Wash 260-LED moving heads and some PAR 64 cans.”
