CHAUVET Adds More Glitz to the Slots

CHAUVET Adds More Glitz to the SlotsATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Atlantic City's first casino – Resorts Casino Hotel -- selected CHAUVET LED lighting to highlight a bank of eight slot machines in its main casino.

The slots share the name of the casino's nightclub Boogie Nights and both have the nostalgia of the 1970s and 1980s in music and lighting.

Reminiscent of the era, the slot machines accept and pay out only in Silver Dollars. Rob Thorpe, of Earl Girls and the contractor selected to install the lighting, used four CHAUVET LEDsplash 200B fixtures and three MiN Spot LED moving yokes to illuminate the slot bank.

In addition to illuminating the slots, the lighting is synchronized to the 70s music that plays when a winner hits the jackpot, Thorpe said. “The big wigs were very happy with that.”
