News Release

For Immediate Release

Iroquois, ON, Canada – January 19, 2010 – The Buffalo Bills invest in Ross XPression, a real-time 2D/3D Character Generator for Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo, NY.

The Buffalo Bills purchased XPression in July 2009 after seeing it in action at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) show. XPression's affordablility and ease of use aided in the decision to move forward with their HD integration.

“Based on our long standing relationship and level of quality I have come to expect from Ross, my decision to purchase XPression was an easy one,” said Stephen Asposto, Video Production Director / Engineer, Buffalo Bills. “It's a full 3D animation/tilting system that will save us plenty in outside animation costs over the years. Our fans this past season were treated to yet another upgrade in our continuing improvement to our gameday program.”

“XPression is a breath of fresh air in a tired CG market,” said Bryan Matthews, Operator, Buffalo Bills. “Whether integrating my own animations, just supporting them or creating them from scratch, XPression takes broadcast computer graphics to the next level. Couple this with constant data stream from the Datalinq server, your options as creator and operator are limitless.”

“Ross is very proud that the Buffalo Bills implemented XPression into their production workflow,” said Niels Borg, XPression Marketing Product Manager, Ross Video. ” XPression's powerful real-time 3D engine offers a unique way to integrate live game data with 3D elements into a multilayered 3D environment. Thanks to the invaluable input from our customers worldwide, we have been able to develop a fantastic solution for a variety of workflows and environments from live news and sports to game shows and events.”
