Blue Skies Ahead! American DJ's Royal Sky Erupts With Galaxy Of Blue and Green Laser Effects

Royal Sky LOS ANGELES – (For Immediate Release) – The sky is guaranteed to turn blue at your next party or gig – and green too! -- when you flick on the Royal Sky from American DJ. That's because this mesmerizing new DMX laser fixture contains one 350mW violet blue laser diode and one 30mW green laser diode that produce an amazing “Liquid Sky” effect when projected overhead on the ceiling. Club patrons will be awestruck by a gigantic monsoon-like cloud of brilliant blue or green “drizzling” down on them, as the Royal Sky works its magic to create an unforgettable atmosphere at any nightspot, bar or disco.

Equally stunning when projected on walls and floors, the Royal Sky's razor-sharp blue and green laser beams shoot back and forth in smooth, fluid movements, driven by high-quality 1.8° stepper motors. This eye-popping effect can create 20 different laser patterns, which can be activated simply by plugging it in and letting it run through its own internal programs, or via a DMX controller for a more custom-designed light show. Either way, its 38° beam angle and dazzling electric blue and emerald green patterns will fill up a room with drama, color and motion, making this a must-have special effect for DJs, mobile entertainers and small clubs.

“Blue lasers produce an amazingly tantalizing, almost hypnotic effect, but up until now they've been very rare and expensive,” said Alfred Gonzales, national sales manager for American DJ. “With the Royal Sky, American DJ has made an exciting breakthrough to bring the alluring and highly-coveted blue laser within the reach of any entertainer or small club. The Royal Sky's blue (and green) lasers are FDA approved, so there's no variance required. Plus, as American DJ has done so often in the past, we've brought this cutting-edge technology down to a very affordable price point.

“This is great news if you're a DJ, mobile entertainer or club, because now, no matter what your budget, you can add a blue laser and take your light show to a whole new level,” added Gonzales. “Everyone who sees this blue laser effect will be amazed, and you'll really set yourself apart from the competition. In addition to its stunning laser effects, the Royal Sky offers some really nice pro features. And it's very compact and lightweight, which makes it great for entertainers on the go.”

This “Liquid Sky” laser is also very “Earth”-friendly. For all its beams and brightness, it's extremely energy efficient, consuming just 20 watts of electricity at maximum use. Plus with its FDA-approved lasers (US only), you can be assured of safe, worry-free operation at any venue or event.

Equipped with a 4-button digital display menu for easy navigation, the Royal Sky offers 3 different operating modes: DMX, Sound Active and Master-Slave. When in DMX Mode, it operates on 6 DMX channels, putting a wide range of programming control in the user's hands. In Sound Active Mode, it becomes a simple-to-use plug-and play effect, running through its patterns to the beat of the music via exciting built-in programs.

For a stunning laser light show over larger areas, up to 16 units can be linked Master-Slave via 3-pin XLR Connectors. Each Royal Sky unit includes IEC In and Out for daisy-chaining power. Each unit also features a ¼” input for American DJ's optional UC3 remote controller (sold separately) for convenient wireless operation.

Contained in durable road-worthy metal housing, the Royal Sky is fan-cooled and comes with a hanging bracket. Compact and easily transportable, it measures 8.5”L x 11.5”W x 7.75”H / 213 x 289 x 194 mm, and weighs 9 lbs / 3.8 kg.

The MSRP of the Royal Sky is $839.95
