Global pop superstar Leona Lewis embarked on her first ever headline tour in May of 2010. Called The Labyrinth as a shout out to Mr. David Bowie, Ms. Lewis has spared no expense in delivering a world-class production inline with Madonna, Kylie Minogue and others. Show Director William Baker, production pro Steve Levitt of Production North, Tour Manger Steve Martin, Production Manager Phil Murphy, Stage Manager Steve Reeve and Lighting Designer to the stars, Baz Halpin, all turned to Bandit Lites and UK C.E. Lester Cobrin to deliver this breath taking design. There is not a more visually stunning show on the road this year than this one.
Halpin, known for his work on Pink, Cher, Queen, Tina Turner, Def Leppard, Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keyes, again produced a work of art second to none. The huge system is composed of VL 3000 Spots, Clay Paky Alpha Beam 700's, Mac 2000 Spots, Mac 2000 Washes, Studio Due 3K Space Flowers, GLP Impression Zooms, Coemar LED PARs, 8 Lights, 4 Lights, PARs, Source 4's, MR 16 Ministrips, Lycian M2's and 2K Xenon's and Atomic Strobes with scrollers. The complicated system is all controlled by a Full Boar Console with a Wing.
Ms. Lewis was the winner of the 2006 television smash hit The X Factor. Bandit first lit Lewis on the 2006 X Factor Live Tour. The three-time Grammy nominee was named the Top New Artist of 2008 by Billboard Magazine. Her smash hit Bleeding Love was #1 all over the world and she has followed it with several other hits including Better in Time. Lewis has won over 25 major awards in the last three years and is clearly one of the most talented artists on the planet today. The current tour is sold out in every market and the demand for more live shows continues to build. Bandit C.E.
