World renown lighting designer Peter Barnes along with Production North production manager Iain Whitehead selected Bandit Lites as the lighting supplier for the 2009 Boyzone Tour. This wildly successful act is back again taking the fans by storm with their infectious brand of music. The band begun in 1993 as a group of humble Irish lads, and they went on to take the music world by storm. Hit after hit emerged from the group as they took their place at the top of the industry. Tour Manger was Paul Bultitude and Bandit crew chief was Mike Humeniuk. The lighting crew consisted of Martin Garnish and Joe Simpson.

Barnes chose for his most recent tour to use VL 3000 Spots, VL 3500 Washes, Pixel Pars, Super Cycs, Stadium Hazers, Lycian 1290 follow spots and the reliable Hog 2 consoles to craft his art. Bandit C.E. Lester Cobrin worked with Barnes on the tour and said “Peter is such a true professional and always a pleasure to work with.” This was the first tour with Boyzone for Bandit and the entire firm was very pleased to have the opportunity to work with such a legendary act.

Boyzone packed the arenas to the rafters every night and Peter Barnes gave everyone the show of a lifetime as Hunter Frith served as board operator. You can be sure that no fan left disappointed after this extravaganza!
