The Award-Winning Christie M Series Expands To Include Wide Resolution Options

M SeriesChristie(r) continues to enhance its award-winning M Series line of three-chip DLP(r) projectors with five additional models, the Christie WX7K-M and WX10K-M (WXGA) projectors and the Christie WU7K-M, WU12K-M and Christie Roadster WU12K-M (WUXGA) projectors. The most compact in its class, this dual mercury lamp platform now includes WXGA (1366x768) and WUXGA (1920x1200) resolutions in addition to SXGA+ (1400x1050) and HD (1920x1080) models.

"The Christie M Series projectors raised the bar in performance, reliability and design. Now, with the new Christie M Series models, this exceptional performance will also be available in WXGA and WUXGA," says George Tsintzouras, director of product management, business products, Christie. "The Christie M Series projectors are ideal for customers with a broad range of needs. Whether they are looking for an entry-level, three-chip DLP projector or a high-end, feature-rich pro AV system, the Christie M Series has a model that will fit all of a customer's application requirements, regardless of venue size or resolution needs."

The Christie WX7K-M and WX10K-M WXGA projectors are ideal for customers entering the three-chip DLP market and looking for 16:9 performance. The Christie WU7K-M, WU12K-M and Roadster WU12K-M premium WUXGA projectors target the 16:10 projection market requirements with the highest resolution, brightness and top pro AV features.

Ranging from 2,850 ANSI (3,135 center) lumens (single lamp mode, 200W) to 10,500 ANSI (11,550 center) lumens (dual lamp mode, 350W), all of the new Christie M Series projectors operate at 120V, a result of the high optical efficiency of these projectors . This gives end-users more lumens with less power consumption as compared to competitive products on the market.

The Christie M Series projectors' standard feature set includes: a state-of-the-art dual lamp system with hot-swappable lamps, embedded Christie Twist(tm) for advanced warping and blending, tiled array processing that supports up to 3x3 arrays, dynamic iris for expanded contrast ratios, picture-in-picture, Intelligent Lens System (ILS(tm)), an expansive suite of high definition lenses and a dust-sealed engine for low maintenance operation. These features contribute to making the Christie M Series projectors one of the most feature packed pro AV systems on the market today.

"The Christie M Series' high performance and rich feature set exemplify what customers have come to expect from all Christie products," notes Tsintzouras. "When combined with Christie's three-year warranty and industry-leading service and support, it's easy to see why the Christie M Series is one of the pro AV industry's favorite projectors."
