LOS ANGELES –American DJ is proud to welcome their newest member of the American Audio family. Edgar Bernal, aka, DJ Etronik, is delighted with his position as the new Product/Sales Specialist for American Audio, and his background as a professional DJ will ensure a great fit for the occupation and within the company.
Edgar Bernal, a Los Angeles native, has enjoyed an extraordinary professional DJ career for over 15 years. A star in his own right, Edgar recently took the illustrious 2010 US DMC DJ Championship title in New York this past August. He was the first DJ in the US to represent the World in all 3 DMC World Battle Categories, as he was named the DMC US Supremacy Champion 2006, DMC US Team co-Champion (as part of “The Angry Exs”) in 2008, and DMC West Coast Champion 2010. Edgar placed 4th in the 2010 DMC World Finals that took place in the UK.
As a member of the American Audio team, Edgar will now handle inbound and outbound sales calls for the company, as well as showcasing and training products for customers. Having a brilliant background career as a professional DJ will be very useful when Edgar takes on his new responsibilities. As a scratch DJ, he is confident that his skills will aid in his capability to demonstrate the latest and greatest from the American DJ family of companies. When asked what he could contribute to the corporation that was founded by DJs for their fellow DJs, Bernal humbly replies, “I hope to contribute to this great company with my sales experience and product knowledge and my great customer service.”
Tom Freret, National Sales Manager of American Audio, is delighted to announce the addition. Says Freret, “We are very excited to appoint Edgar Bernal, a highly celebrated DJ, to this position. His passion for music and his understanding of our vast family of products really embodies what American DJ is all about. We know we will see great things from him.”
Although the new position will likely keep Edgar pretty busy, he will be sure to utilize his free time doing the things he loves, which includes watching and playing sports and listening to his favorite music. As the new Product/Sales Specialist, Edgar is thrilled to begin his new career, and celebrated the occasion in true American DJ fashion by having a great time with his new co-workers at the LDI Show in Las Vegas.
