ANAHEIM, CA – (For Immediate Release) -- American Audio will be serving up some “sound value” at Winter 2013 NAMM, held here January 24-27. The company is introducing several exciting products that provide extremely high sound quality a very attractive price, including the new ELS15A professional 2-way active bi-amplified speaker system, and a brand-new series of class A/B amplifiers, the ELX Series.
Here is a closer look at these products, which will be on display at American Audio’s NAMM Booth #6330:
ELS15A Speaker System – A 15” professional 2-way active bi-amplified speaker system, the ELS15A features a Low Frequency Driver and Titanium High Frequency compression driver that provide exceptional clarity, as well as high power handling capability and maximum efficiency. The unit includes a state-of-the-art, high efficiency switch mode power supply with a class A/B low frequency power amplifier and a class A/B high frequency amplifier. Other features include: an active signal limiting system with LED indicator on the rear panel; treble, bass and volume output control; a microphone input (XLR and ¼” stereo) with separate mic volume control; time aligned electronic crossover; XLR and RCA line inputs; and XLR through output. Additionally, the ELS15A is equipped with a full protection system, including: DC, overload, short circuit, thermal, On/Off mute, and LF/HF limiters. With its case made of rugged injection-molded polypropylene, the ELS15A is durable and road-worthy, yet it’s also very lightweight and easy to handle. It is both flyable and stand mountable for versatility of use.
ELX Amplifier Series – Consisting of 3 models – ELX2000, ELX3000 and ELX4000 – American Audio’s newest amp line ranges from 180 watts to 800 watts to cover a broad spectrum of user needs. In addition to delivering excellent sound quality, these Class A/B amps were designed with the features and conveniences that today’s pro audio customers demand, including: front panel volume knobs and LED meters; XLR-1/4” inputs; and Speakon and binding post outputs. Fan-cooled, the ELX amps take up 2 rack spaces.
