New York will join the ranks of cultural capitals such as Berlin, Lyon, Montreal, and Sydney that have annual lighting festivals by launching The New York Festival of Light (NYFOL). This year's NYFOL will be held in DUMBO, Brooklyn, NY from November 6-8, 2014.
As a non-profit in its startup phase, the NYFOL has launched a Kickstarter campaign, with an initial goal of $5,000.
NYFOL 2014 will be the first ever annual lighting festival to be held in New York that is free of charge and open to the public. Cutting edge and innovative installations designed by local and international artists will illuminate DUMBO in ways you can only imagine.
