Last Halloween, the balconies and columns of the South Portico of the White House were projection-mapped for the first time. Norman Coates, director of lighting at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Design and Production (UNCSA) and the Winston Salem Light Project, worked with students and alumni from UNCSA on the lighting and projection for the event.
