Bifrost Comes To New York: A Rainbow Light Bridge

At the end of the rainbow on New York's Gowanus subway bridge were wheels wrapped in colorful, translucent plastic and hand-cranked to spin in shifting patterns of bright hues, according to The Creators Project. Creative agency Vanderbilt Republic's half-mile light installation, Spectrum II,  evolved nightly during its two-week exploration of color in January. The installation was part of the agency's Photographic Monuments series, which has used brick buildings and iconic signs as canvases.
