Presenter Nicholas Pope:
Sound designer Nicholas Pope’s Broadway credits include Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet Of 1812, for which he received a Drama Desk nomination, and A Gentleman’s Guide To Love & Murder, for which he was the associate sound designer. His Off-Broadway credits include The Outer Space (sound designer, 2017) and Allegro (associate sound designer, 2014). Pope attended Yale University for theatrical design, and has worked as a sound designer for university, regional theatre, and cruise ship productions. He served as an associate on two prior productions of The Great Comet, before becoming principal designer for the Broadway production. For this complicated production with the audience in the midst of the action, Pope used Meyer Sound’s SpaceMap and D-Mitri processing engine as part of his design tool kit.
