With grass on the walls, Ivy Nightclub in Miami blends organic with technical in an experience unlike any other. Front and center of the new, state-of-the-art club is the DJ booth, located in the heart of the action on the lower level of this two-story venue, setting the vibe for guests immediately upon entering. Energetic light shows dazzle club-goers, and the deep bass over the speakers gets the adrenaline pumping. Lighting designer and installer Michael Callahan of Miami-based Audio Video Lighting Innovations Inc. gives a video tour of this new venue—primarily outfitted with lighting fixtures from Chauvet Professional—from the lighting control booth to the VIP area via private elevator to the DJ booth.
