New Again: Kings Theatre To Reopen

Kings Threatre

The Kings Theatre, formerly the Loew's Kings Theatre, which opened in 1929 and closed in 1977, is expected to reopen in 2015, according to News 12 Brooklyn. The New York City Economic Development Corporation claims that the restored multi-purpose performing arts theatre, located at 1027 Flatbush Avenue, will generate jobs and increase foot traffic.

iWeiss Theatrical Solutions is on the construction site, installing decorative drapery in the elaborate theatre, which was built as one of Loew's five "Wonder Theatres" in the New York region, and was modeled after the Palace of Versailles and the Paris Opera House. Be sure to stop by the iWeiss booth at the LDI Exhibit Hall show floor, November 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Use VIP code GDP4 for a free pass onto the show floor!
