“Lighting is a key theme in the discovery of identity and illumination as revelation, which plays not only into the identity side, but also into the magic,” lighting designer Adam Blumenthal says of In & Of Itself, created and performed by acclaimed magician Derek DelGaudio.
“Derek makes a lot of reference to light, both in direct, visual ways as well as intellectual ways throughout the show.” The designer shares his lighting plots for the show, which is currently housed Off-Broadway at Daryl Roth Theatre through August 19.
