Julian Sleath Joins Anne Minors Performance Consultants

Anne Minors Performance Consultants (AMPC) are pleased to announce the appointment of Julian Sleath to lead the technical and operational aspects of the performance consulting practice.

Over the last seven years, Sleath has been the client representative on the design team of the Toronto Opera House, completing a very successful opera house balanced within a tight budget. He also worked on the restoration of the Theatre Royal and the construction of a technical and rehearsal center in Glasgow.

Sleath’s background as the technical director of the Canadian Opera Company and Scottish Opera gave him a deep and broad understanding of every art form. This, together with his experience of running the technical department of the Edinburgh International Festival and extensive touring with British Council funded companies, matches completely with AMPC’s current and future portfolio of projects in four continents.

Anne Minors enthuses, “Julian joining us will open a new chapter for AMPC and we are looking forward to being able to move forward in new directions as well as reinforcing our current trajectory.”

Sleath says, “I have been fortunate to be able to work with many great performing companies and technicians from around the world. Now is my chance to be part of creating great performance spaces for them.”
