Jeopardy! Features William Ivey Long Category Tonight

Tonight, May 16, the trivia show "Jeopardy!" will dedicate an entire category to six-time Tony-award winning costume designer William Ivey Long, according to Playbill.com. While the show has used Broadway trivia on previous episodes, never before has the show featured a category to a single Broadway designer.

Ivey Long's work can currently be seen on Broadway in Cabaret, Chicago, Cinderella and Bullets Over Broadway, for which Ivey Long has been nominated for Best Costume Design of a Musical. Ivey Long has designed for over 65 shows, including Hairspray, The Boy from Oz, The Producers, Music Man, Grey Gardens, Guys and Dolls, Crazy for You, and Nine. Inducted into Theatre Halle of Fame in 2006 and elected chairman of the American Theatre Wing in 2012, "Jeopardy!" has chosen a very accomplished designer to feature for its first time single Broadway designer category.
