ZFX, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of the Wonkavator to their line of theatrical flying props. Designed and manufactured in-house, the one-of-a-kind Wonkavator, complete with light-up display, stands eight feet tall, weighs 200 pounds, and can hold an additional 400 pounds maximum.
ZFX offers a full flying effects package for Wonka productions, including
Grandpa and Charlie’s experience in the Fizzy Lifting Drinks room, Augustus getting “sucked” up the chocolate river tube and an option to have Violet float away after she “blows up.”
The Wonkavator’s debut flight was at Chaffey High School in Ontario, California in November 2007. “We fly more than people,” says Terri Kirsch, president of ZFX. “We have a great selection of flying props from popular theatrical productions, and we build custom flying props. If you can imagine it, we can create and fly it.”
