Super Bowl Courtyard Marriott Tailgate Party

Stefan Beese and his design team at Re:Be Design created interior environment produced by IMG Live for the Courtyard Marriott for the hotel's Superbowl XLVII Tailgate Party at the Contemporary Art Center of New Orleans. The party's theme, based on the "Greatness on the Road" campaign by the Courtyard Marriott, was the arrival on the football field.

Stefan Beese and his design team at Re:Be Design produced an environment with high-quality artificial grass surfaces that began on the floor, then swooped up into a curved grass ribbon on the walls, and then eventually flowed into the turf covered stage. Two major features were a grass wall timeline that featured Courtyard Marriott’s 30 years history and a 12’ tall grass cladded logo wall that curved into a turf cladded mixologist bar.

On stage, Re:Be Design reinforced Courtyard Marriott’s branding by using its tree shapes to create a layered wooden backdrop that was then textured by projection. Growing out of the stage was a DJ stand with a walnut facade with a custom cut back lit courtyard Marriott logo. This event feature talks with New Orleans Saint’s Quarterback, Drew Brees and Running Back, Darren Sproles. The event also included a step a repeat backdrop for NFL players a fans to have their photos taken and uploaded to social media.
